da fazobetai: Malaga midfielder Santi Cazorla is set for a medical at Arsenal and will fly to London this week to conclude a deal to the Gunners, Sky Sports state.

The north London side are looking to bolster their attacking options after the news of Robin van Persie’s intended departure, and have already signed Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski this summer.

Cazorla has been part of the Spain squad over the last number of seasons, but did not get a chance to star at Euro 2012 for Vicente del Bosque’s men.

The right winger also played a significant role in leading Malaga to fourth place in La Liga last term, but with the Andalusian side’s finances up in the air, they may be forced to sell.

A deal work around £17 million is said to have been agreed between the teams, and Cazorla is thought to be very keen to move to the Emirates Stadium.
